Very nice program. Unfortunately it doesn't work with Win7 64 bit. Missed one function. When you want to add same picture/cover to several mp3 files, you still have to open one by one file. Maybe it is possible select several, but I didn't find out how.

Unfortunately, it appears that the AudioShell install hasn't been tested on Vista. The install seemed to have failed to update the registry appropriately, and so for me, the functionality didn't exist after "installation." I found an online "fix" involving manually updating the registry, which I really didn't want to hazard.
Sorry not to be able to give a glowing report! But it does appear to be a very handy functionality, and if it works on your system, then I think you'll be pleased.

AudioShell makes it so much easier in organizing your music library without having to actually install a program. I've been using this for almost 4 months now and never so much as a regret.

Audio shell review.
I like the product, I just wish it could search a data base for audio id tags.

good product
A little overbearing at times but works very well and seems bug-free thus far.

Good Idea.
This program is definately inovative by using the Windows shell to retag your music but it wasn't what I was looking for. Windows' Details menu doesn't recognize ogg (and other) tags which makes it impossible to sort stored music of that format and others by date recorded, artist, album title, etc. but this is a review of AudioShell so I think its a good idea although i'm not in a position to rate it since I did not use it.

Doesn`t work as advertised?!?!?!?!?
In the details view in Windows Explorer (My Music), none of the extra fields show?!?!?!? I don't see the Artist, Album Name, Year, Track Number, Year, Genre or any of those fields. That's what I had hoped this program would do.... So I'm disappointed in this product.

Reaches the parts Explorer didn`t.
If you have a large collection of Music Files on your PC chances are AudioShell is for you. At least some information will be incorrect or missing. Okay you can fire up a tagging program, but what if you spot something and want to change or add the information quickly? AudioShell lets you right click and away you go. No leaving it to later only to forget!
So if Music matters to you get AudioShell.
